Bush league stuff from Yakupov and his agent IMO. Now every GM in the league is going to be low balling MacT and co. The exact opposite of what the Oilers need right now, more distractions in an already tough season. |

I will say this because there will be many eastern fans giving their opinion... Dallas Eakins may have done wonders for Kadri... but in comparison to what Krueger did for Yak- Eakins has a tonne of (frank)ing work to do- fact... and no I was not much of a Krueger fan... but in a short season- playing only on a 3rd line - Yaks led the team in goals... in comes Eakins-the kid remains most nights on the 3rd line, minimal PP exposure and set up, and minimal playing time during key points in hockey games- boom the kid has what 2 goals... That's player and coach- but from the outside looking in its coach... |
